In the United States, the NSA, the CIA and the FBI have done the same, proving that these agencies put significant resources into studying this phenomenon. The topic emerged from the realm of ‘conspiracy theory’ and entered the realm of reality, largely due to the efforts of hundreds of military whistleblowers from all walks of life, in addition to politicians and academics.
