Former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer, the so-called highest-level alien believer in the world, says extraterrestrials live among us and refuse to share their advanced technology currently due to wars and pollution.
Hellyer, was a defense minister from 1963 to 1967 under Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson and became famous for his belief in aliens since 2005. Hellyer, 90, said in an interview with Russia Today, he believes that there are 80 different species of extraterrestrial races, some of which “seem just like us and could walk on the street and you wouldn’t know if you met one.
“I would say that almost all of them are benign and benevolent and want to help us, there may be one or two alien species that don’t.” Hellyer has described a cosmos similar to that of Star Trek and claims that there is a “federation” of aliens that has a rule that is not to interfere in our affairs – the same as the Star Trek “main directive”.
He adds that aliens are not impressed by us on Earth at all. “They don’t think we are good administrators of our planet, we are cutting down our forests, we are polluting our rivers and lakes, and we are discharging sewage and plastic into the oceans. We are doing all kinds of things that are not what good house administrators should do, not least because we only have one at home, “Hellyer told Russian tabloid RT.
He also claimed to have seen a UFO two years ago near his cottage which is located on Lake Muskoka, north of Toronto. “It looked just like a star, but then it turned out to be a so-called sphere of light that flew in an unusual way. It wasn’t an airplane, ” Hellyer said when asked to describe it.
