UFO sightings in Britain, classified as secret, have finally been revealed thanks to a Freedom of Information request.

The UK government has invested a lot of time, money and manpower in tracking UFO sightings.

The Royal Air Force (RAF) was tasked with keeping the records and sent them to the National Archives every year.

But the RAF UFO wing was shut down after 50 years in 2009, when it was concluded that there was no evidence of a potential threat from extraterrestrials.

The files have already been released and records show the uk’s main hot spots where unidentified flying objects have been detected.

It details more than 626 sightings from across the UK from 1959 to 2009.

The reports came from more than 56 places across England, as well as areas of Scotland, Wales and even the Channel Islands.

According to the freedom of information request, filed by Fresh Student Living, the CAPITAL of the United Kingdom, London is the first place to see unexplained lights.

In one year, the capital had 54 strange sightings, compared to the next hot spot, Kent, which saw 30 in a year.

One sighting in London was “an object with white and alternating red lights at an angle” that came from “south-east London towards Canary Wharf” and “stopped in the air”.

The included chart was created by Fresh Living to map all sightings reported by a variety of different people.

As for Kent, there was a sighting of “two objects, five minutes away, going east to west”, which “looked like orange fireballs, but did not emit sound”.

Derbyshire had 24 sightings, while Lancashire and Essex had 22 sightings in a year.

The included chart was created by Fresh Living to map all sightings reported by a variety of different people.

The information says sightings were reported by air traffic control officials, pilots, police and journalists.

The most common time to see a UFO is between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am.

While London ranks first, midlands is also an access point with more than 109 sightings between the counties of Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

In a 2020 YouGov survey, 1 in 5 Britons said they believe that aliens probably live on Earth today, while 65% say it is not likely and 15% are undecided.
