UFO sightings are limited to observing mysterious objects in the sky. Few documented cases speak of their passengers, much less about communication with these.
When reviewing reports of UFO sightings, we become aware of several things; One is that the sightings are much older than we think, and that witnesses are sometimes able to look at their crew.
This last point is a rarity. There are few cases in which witnesses can see the beings that pilot these ships. However, there is a much more mysterious case still; communication with them.
This is the case that concerns us today. A story where a person even came to sit and talk with an extraterrestrial being, strange as it may sound.
Sir Peter Horsley and Lord Janus
In 1954, one of the greatest pilots in history, Sir Peter Horsley, who was a renowned illustrious military man who served as the deputy commander-in-chief of the RAF Attack Command, UK.
Horsley wrote an autobiography called “Sounds from Another Room,” where he mentioned several anecdotes from his life. But what no one ever thought is that this book would be riddled with stories related to UFOs.
What is most striking is the account of a mysterious encounter he had one day in a London waiting room, while waiting to meet with Mrs. Markham.
A rather enigmatic man entered the room and sat in a corner where the darkness bathed him, calling himself “Lord Janus.”
When this man began to speak, he was extremely interested in Horsley’s knowledge of UFOs.
“Mr. Janus immersed himself directly in the conversation, asking me to tell him everything I knew about UFOs.
He listened patiently … In the end I thought it could be just as direct and I asked Janus what his interest was. He simply replied, “You would like to meet the Duke of Edinburgh.”
Extremely strange, but that would be just the beginning. Horsley relates that he began to speak about humanity’s desire to reach the stars, as well as its technology was evolving so much that this goal was getting closer.
He mentioned that since humans evolved so fast, it was our obligation to discover the true mysteries of the Universe. Horsley mentions that the conversation was not always pleasant and at one point, it became cloudy.
Lord Janus mentioned that Humanity was reaching a kind of “Dark Age” and that if we continued on that path, we would never fulfill our objective.
He assured that in our greed to search for more complex machines, man is ready to sacrifice whatever it takes to achieve it, regardless of whether this is nature, animals, and even other humans.
Our world is increasingly in danger, according to what Janus said, and everything seems to be our own fault.
There was also mention of nuclear weapons and how highly self-destructive humanity was becoming. Despite this, he also showed appreciation for the military.
After the conversation, Lord Janus disappeared at any moment, leaving Horsley perplexed. That conversation was only possible with a being of superior knowledge.
Is it possible that it was an alien? And if so, why did it decide to contact Horsley? It is still striking, even though there is no real proof of this event.
