The time the US invited the USSR to repel aliens

A Reagan statement to Gorbachev at the 1985 summit indicates his belief that the real threat does not come from behind the Iron Curtain, but from hostile aliens.

Ronald Reagan believed that the aliens would conquer the Earth and surprised Mikhail Gorbachev, asking for help from the USSR to repel the invasion.

During a meeting in 1985 in Geneva, the American president departed from the planned text and warned Gorbachev of the threat of an alien invasion.

Reagan, referring to Gorbachev, expressed confidence that the two superpowers would cooperate if Earth was in danger of alien invasion. The stunned Gorbachev stopped responding and politely changed the subject of the conversation.

In 1982, Reagan organized a private screening at the White House of the film by Steven Spielberg, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind“, Where he invited judges, astronauts and other important people. When the credits ran out, he turned to the audience and said:

Many people in this room know that everything shown on the screen is true.

He really tried hard to inform the public, even when he knew it was against national security.

On September 16, 1983, US President Ronald Reagan delivered a memorable speech to members of the United Nations. In it, he subtly suggests that there are aliens and that all of humanity could perish if they decide to attack.

President Reagan stated:

We may need some kind of universal external threat to make us recognize this common connection. Sometimes, I think how quickly our differences around the world would disappear if we faced an alien threat from outside this world.

Of course, President Reagan had insider information from the CIA and NASA, and was told that aliens do exist.

But he couldn’t just say the same thing, without violating national security rules. So, instead … he subtly suggested to the rest of world leaders what he had learned from the CIA and NASA.

He also knew that a small percentage of other leaders at the United Nations meeting were also aware of the existence of aliens.
