The Olmec civilization and its mysterious “reptilian gods”

The Olmecs were the first known civilization in Mexico, forming the first Mesoamerican culture.

The truth is that it is unknown how they called themselves, but the Nahuas, or Mexicas, called them Olmecs or “inhabitants of the rubber country.”

They achieved great cultural development, building great cities and acquiring great technological and mathematical knowledge, such as the invention of the number 0, unknown in the West until 1202.

His great discoveries profoundly influenced the subsequent civilizations that populated the region. Its development began around 1,200 B.C. and its decline occurred around 400 B.C. They spread through what we know today as the state of Veracruz and Tabasco.

They were a culture that spread enormously commercially speaking, even influencing Costa Rica, finding traces, for example of its sculptures and various objects.

This means that they not only traded, but that their influence was intellectual, penetrating greatly in their neighboring civilizations.

The old city of La Venta is a clear example of its architectural and artistic style, with a city with large squares and staggered pyramid bases.

The first dated in Mesoamerica, and orienting the cities in a North-South direction, which shows that to build them, there was a planned urban layout.

This gives us an idea of how this extinct civilization was advanced.

The Olmec Gods

Their religion was polytheistic, worshiping different gods normally related to elements of nature or animals, but their advanced sculptural discipline gives us certain clues about the reptilian aspect that they conferred on their representations.

We also find the famous “handbag”That sustain reptilian gods represented by the whole world, especially in Egypt, something that is strange to the scientific community, due to its coincidence among all civilizations, and because they do not know how to explain what that species of artifact is.

But we find a specific god who can give us many clues that something strange made the Olmec civilization suddenly grow in Mesoamerica and be so prosperous.

We are talking about the Olmec dragon, represented with a reptilian and winged head, which can give us a clue about the latest scientific research and how this civilization settled.

The resemblance of the Olmec gods, along with the representation of the great heads of the Gulf of Mexico, are tremendously similar to older civilizations from Asia.

In fact, there was no homogenized Olmec people, but there were various cities that traded with each other. Furthermore, scientists have begun to carry out DNA studies that can verify this theory.

Various Asian civilizations are believed to have migrated to South America and Mesoamerica, settling in these fertile lands and developing a new civilization.

The question kit is how they got there … You could believe they did it by sailing, making different stopovers wherever they passed, but this would have taken too long ..

And they would have a handicap to transport a large part of their belongings in order to establish themselves and begin to be as productive as they were.

In various Olmec engravings, and in later Mayans, they speak of a strange flying artifact, and of beings and gods with a reptilian aspect that helped them in their journey.

Sculptures like this one show obvious non-human traits.

However, both the headdresses attributed to the gods or the highest priests, are tremendously similar to the Asian civilizations that we named.

We would be talking about an authentic mass migration, it is the only thing that would explain the emergence and prosperity of the Olmec civilization.

They did not have to learn anything, they had already learned it, in fact, these Asian peoples were great merchants, which would explain their rapid expansion in this sense throughout the American continent.

The appearance of these reptilian-looking gods are represented as a kind of divinities that helped them prosper and make those great changes so important to them.

In fact, very similar sculptures can be seen in Asia as in Mesoamerica, being later inherited by the Mayan civilization.

But this has not only happened in the Olmec civilization, this fact is repeated throughout the world, representing these beings, precisely as creators and givers of life and knowledge, being transcendental in the great changes that humanity has undergone.

The connection between the over 4,000-year-old civilizations of Southeast Asia and the Olmec civilization is palpable, and how would we explain this without a common denominator?

These ancient Asian civilizations of which we spoke already represented a winged dragon god, tremendously similar to the Olmec, and the appearance in different engravings of flying artifacts is repeated in the same way.

This area of Southeast Asia suffered subsequent tsunamis, earthquakes and natural disasters, so many of its cities, by the way, with pyramid representations very similar to the Olmecs, ended up on the seabed.

Is it possible that it was not a voluntary migration, but that they were evacuated for their survival?

That is a question that scientists have asked themselves, but the stones will have to speak to us and give us answers.
