Sony announced on the official PlayStation blog that The Last of Us: Part II, which had to be postponed due to quarantine, will be released on June 19, 2020. In this regard, the company decided to postpone the release of Ghost of Tsushima – until July 17.
Here’s what the head of the Sony gaming division, German Hulst, said about this:
I want to personally congratulate and thank the Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch teams for their achievements. We know that in ‘quarantine’ conditions, its not easy to finish the job. Both studios worked to release world-class games. We look forward to the moment when we can find out what you think about them.
Judging by his words, the company intends to postpone the main releases of 2020, which should complete the current generation of the PlayStation.
Recall, The Last of Us 2 was originally planned to be released on May 29, and Ghost of Tsushima – on June 26.
